Durrent Hill
A challenging, rewarding gravel pit with gin-clear, spring-fed water.
The water
Clear water. Characterful fishing.
Excavated in 1984, this 2.75-acre gravel pit is reserved for club members and their permitted guests under club by-laws. Depths range from approximately 3 to 14 feet.
Its stocks include tench, roach, crucian carp, rudd, pike, perch, bream and carp. Spring-fed water helps maintain consistent conditions through colder periods.
Secure and well managed
Members benefit from secure parking within the fishery perimeter. Boilies, bread, sweetcorn, maggot, caster and lobworm can all produce, with notable opportunities for perch.
